It would be a good fight while it lasts.

Nah, i seen Chavez Jr. fight and he didnt impress me while he was fightin an old guy n the old guy held his until they stopped the fight but he stunned Chavez Jr. for a bit, i think Cintron should actually stay in 154 though.

I'm usually not into talking bad about any combat sportsman, but why does the boxing media continually and blatantly ignore Cintron's obvious mental frailty in the boxing sport...obvious to everyone but promoters and the media? Cintron can punch like a beast but his mental toughness just isn't there, like it or not. Cotto may have a weak chin (something the media also ignores, and this was obvious to all fans prior to the Margarito fight but also ignored by the media and promoters...although the boxing media is quick as lightning to mention Wladimir's chin every chance they get, they conveniently ignore Cotto's own Wlad-ish chin, and yes the Margarito fight with Cotto is in question now due to gloves, but Cotto's chin issues were apparent well before then) but if Cotto can box out of range of Cintron's heavy punches, Cintron will mentally break down halfway through the fight as he always does when the fight does not go his way.

In any case, I think people would be stoked for a Cotto-Mosely rematch now. I wouldn't mind it, given the circumstances, and it is a much bigger fight than a Cintron one, not just financially but from a fan point of view. There isn't much for a bigger fight out there right now at that weight, after all.

snake's right, cintron's got the guns, but not the guts. horrible under pressure, can't adapt, doesn't dig down, etc. A real waste of potential.

154 is probably the worst division and he ******. Now he wants a crack at Cotto? If it were to happen I would enjoy the beating Cintron will get.

you guys are all right cintron doesn't have the mental capability to be an elite boxer. he couldn't adapt at all to martinez and looked really bad in what should have be a loss. him vs. cotto is an absolute joke and another display of arum hurting the sport of boxing. cotto is at the point in his career where he should not be fighting guys like cintron unless he loses a stinker to jennings. lets see cotto vs mosley berto or clottey.

I agree with you 110%. I think that Cintron doesn't deserve to fight Cotto even if his record doesn't look that bad. The guy is a disgrace to the sport!
