Laurence Cole has some pretty bad moments, like when he told JMM he could stop the fight and win against Jaca because cut caused by a head butt. Cole told JMM he was up on the card so there was no reason to continue (and this was not an open scoring fight).

This same ref has messed up in other ways also, I just can't recall them offhand.

Thought the ref in the Williams/Archich fight was a mong, Tillerman was an absolute crook who it has been later found out idolized Nady and Steele.

Worst include:

- the referee last night in Martinez-Cintron.

- Joe Cortez in the Floyd-Hatton fight, and the Soto-Lorenzo fight.

- Davis in the Barrett-Haye fight, and some of Haye's home referees in other fights.

- Haye hit Barrett when he was down, the ref said nothing. Barrett hit Haye on the way down, he deducted a point
- Davis kept letting Haye hit Barrett with rabbit punches, but when Barrett retaliated, he was warned
- Davis didn't count Barrett's knocking down Haye
- two of the five knockdowns of Barrett were not legit, once he was pushed, another time it was from a direct rabbit punch
