Suddenly the Khan Vs MAB fight makes sence.

I knew I was missing something in the hype of this fight, I didn't truely understand what the khan camp had to gain by taking this fight, the name is great but no-one would be able to claim a great win since MAB was a name in the UK 2001.

Not even the sucker casual fan was buying the whole beating a legend slant to the hype, then I happened to be on teh WBO site for some reason looking at something else and stumbbled across this little gem.

    1 Marco Antonio Barrera MEX
    2 Juan Manuel Marquez MEX
    3 Juan Diaz USA
    4 Anthony Peterson USA
    5 Ali Funeka SA
    6 Michael Katsidis AUST
    7 Breidis Prescott (Int-Cont) COL
    8 Joan Guzman DR
    9 Amir Khan GB

Call me cynical if you like but if khan beats the aging MAB how much would you like to be he fights an unknown for the now vacant title?

How the hell did Barrera get to No. 1 lightweight in their rankings?!

Because Khan is a nobody and Barrera has only fought a couple of journeymen/bums above 130, and has lost 2 of his last 4 fights.

Surely there is some other reason why Barrera has been being ranked as number 1 challenger? Umm, no comment.

Khan will stop Barrera and I beleive his loss to Prescott will be avenged.
