Geez mate, it's just an expression. Nate is a veteran who is saying that this young kid, young comparative to him, is a terrific little fighter. I thought it was really nice. Honestly, Nate is one of the good guys of boxing.

Its kind of like when they say a guy can "fight a little bit" or "crack a little bit". Its just the humble nature of boxing culture, I find it refreshing.
That was some funny **** to say about a big gangly mofo like Funeka though.
