how dose clinching amount to cheating or a dirty tactic, it is simply a tactic and well within the rules, and if you look at the fight with the magic man then you will see clearly it was not hatton doing the holding, im not saying hatton nether dose it but it is more a case of hatton applying so much pressure and ferocity of his attcks his opponents struggle to back off and get caught in his trap which is to get close and attack the body, even when you back off from hatton he throws even more dangerous and effective shots to the body and them shots hurt, its not cheating its tactics and works very well, pac and pc fans will see this very soon, pac is a poor boxer when backing up and when hatton has him against the ropes which also is within the rules pac wont be so brash throwing flashy combos because it wont be possible.
