good fight, i'm taking mighty mike in this one, it's a tall order but i believe he has the experience to frustrate ortiz and beat him. after his losses, i think arnaoutis is refocused and wont let the fight get out of his control....... he can't afford to, ortiz is going to be coming at him all fight long, and i think that plays into arnaoutis's game plan, urango did that and almost got beat, i will go so far as to say, if arnaoutis vs urango was in any other location other than hollywood florida, urango's adopted hometown, he would've won on the cards, by at least four rounds.................... urango got away with a draw. arnaoutis fought urango well and he had a very come forward style, although, ortiz has more to show as far as variety in punches, but all in all, it plays into the counter puncher style of arnaoutis.....

tough, tough, fight, all the way through, neither guy has it easy........... and a lot riding on the fight......

          Advantages
          Power - Ortiz
          Chin - Even
          Skill - Ortiz
          Speed - Even
          Reach - Even
          Height - Arnaoutis
          Experience - Arnaoutis
          Stamina - Even
          Power - Ortiz

Ortiz has more power, right, but he also hasn't faced another southpaw. We don't know if he can land his power shots against Arnaoutis who is a relatively decent defensive counter-puncher. You also have to bear in mind that Arnaoutis has more first-round stoppages than Ortiz, he isn't a Malignaggi.

          Chin - Even

I don't think Arnaoutis have been dropped before, but Ortiz apparently has - by a nobody. Arnaoutis went 12 rounds against heavy hitters Torres and Urango. It was also reported that he took the Urango bout while on training Holiday and outboxed the heavy-hitting southpaw to a draw in Urango's own backyard, and of course we all know that he dropped Torres and had him in trouble in the late rounds, lost the fight though on a split decision.

          Skill - Ortiz

Hard to tell, Ortiz hasn't fought anybody that would give us a good gauge of his skill level. A shot Maussa only lasted a round and even in that fight, Moussa threw and landed more punches than Ortiz. Ortiz' skill level against another southpaw is also a big question mark while Arnaoutis in 2008 has knocked out and boxed a shut-out against southpaws who both have a fairly high KO ratio.

          Speed - Even

Ortiz just looks fast fighting fighters who are above 35 years old.

          Reach - Even

Arnaoutis just utilizes his jabs more.

          Height - Arnaoutis

Isn't a factor as Ortiz faced fighters as tall as Arnaoutis.

          Experience - Arnaoutis

Not a factor, Ortiz has faced fighters with more experience than Arnaoutis.

          Stamina - Even

Ortiz' cardio is questionable, his level of competition doesn't give him enough rounds for us to gauge if he can carry his work rate for 12 rounds.

          Analysis

I think Ortiz will be more confident coming into this fight. I also think that Ortiz is a lot hungrier. Couple this with Arnaoutis' tendency to be too cautious and we might see another Torres-fight-like performace for Arnaoutis and I don't think that will be enough to win against Ortiz.

But styles make fights, Ortiz might just turn-out to be clueless against a southpaw and Arnaoutis might just prove to have a better game against southpaws and box his way to a decision win. If Arnaoutis' punches could makes Ortiz think twice about being too ****y, I think Mighty Mike could just pull it off.

Mighty Mike has been down more than once. The Holt fight for sure.

Mighty Mike has been in there with some world class 140 lbers but I think Ortiz will take this, Mike dropped decisions to Holt and Torres and drew with Urango and Urango at that stage had very little boxing skill just raw power.
