I say yes and no.
Yes - As far as body types with an abnormally large fighter with a massive wingspan taking on a shorter pudgier fighter. Also, the ages of the respective fighters with the taller men both being the younger fighters (not sure how old Funeka is actually).
No - Jabs the taller men employ are different. One of Williams problems is that his jab often gets alittle lazy and slow, and opponents like to duck under it and counter. Funeka's was snapping pretty fast all night.
Yes - Pressure of smaller fighters. Both Wright and Campbell like to march straight in with their hands high.
No - Primary shot of the smaller fighter. Wright likes to shoot his jab out of his high gaurd, with an occasional straight left. Campbell likes to maul his opponents with hooks to the body, with occassional overhand rights.
Yes - Activity level of the taller fighters. Williams and Funeka both maintain very high activity levels (punch volume), though Williams seems to have slightly more stamina (though Nates body work might have been what slowed Funeka).
No - Attributes of the big men. I think Williams has a better chin, hits harder, and a slightly better inside game than Funeka does.
Anyway, I feel there are some similarities, but not really enough to draw any conclusions. Just thought it was sort of interesting to compare the two.
Any similarities or dissimilarities you wanna add are fine.
