    I think he deserved it.

Apart from the two rounds with the KD's, he also took a minimum of four other rounds. I had him just winning it due to the KD's and some of the other rounds in which he did some really brilliant body work.

Without the KD's Funeka would have taken it with the boxing in the middle rounds but the great work of Nate at the start and towards the end of the fight, I really think he deserved it.

Great fight nonetheless, and for all those that cry 'Robbery', go jump. It was a really close fight no matter who won, but with the first three and the last few along with two KD's, it's no robbery either way.

damn... honestly i thought it was a draw, but I lean more towards funeka for a decision, but I'm happy nate got the win.

***** nate had to dig deep as hell. funeka is a good as hell boxer. I dont think any of the other lightweights will fight this guy... he is the real deal. I hope hbo or showtime sign him up.

Yeah, definitely. I could see how many people would have it a draw. I just gave one extra round to Campbell that I thought he won with some really good body punching. If people gave it to Funeka though I wouldn't argue much.

I can see why people would have given the fight to Funeka as well. Looking at the fight in a macro-kind of sense I think that Campbell landed more punches, landed the harder punches, hurt Funeka a number of times and had him down twice, once at the start and once at the end. It ened beiong that the KD's won it for him but then in the scoring I just had him sneaking it in. I just think that while Funeka did a great job of boxing throughout the middle rounds, he didn't do any damage and never had Campbell hurt and a lot of his shots were blocked also. Great fight by him and I think if he had been able to hurt Campbell once he could have taken it.

it was a hard fight to score.

i didn't bother scoring it. i thought nate edged him out as well.

i just finished seeing it on hbo right now and ali is crying in his corner.

funeka is far from an elite but i'll root for him from now on. this L takes nothing away from him. i hope he gets a few more paydays in the future.
