Nate Campbell is overrated. Barrera would've whooped his ass. If he was in the ring with him today.

If only he had better defense, he would have won. He won on rounds on my card, but he lost because he got knocked down.

      It was a poorman's mixture of kelly pavlik-jermain taylor 1 and cunningham-adamek

Come to think of it, he's nothing like Paul Williams. Ali > Paul. At least I like him more anyway.
I can agree with that. The only thing Paul has over Funeka is his chin, other then that Funeka > Paul at everything.

Would be an interesting fight between him and Marquez, but I doubt Marquez takes that fight at this stage in his career. Unless he can't get nothing else. I mean Marquez is probably looking for the bigger paydays and fighting a 6'1 guy that has a high punch output, and fundamentally pretty good doesn't seem like a risk worth taking unless it's for good cash.

Respect to Ali Funeka. Despite the knockdowns, dude won that fight, Nate did not win 7 and 6 rounds like 2 of the judges had it. ****t he barely won 4. Ali won that fight and should feel proud of his performance.

Rspect Funeka. Didn't demand anymore $ from Nate, fought like a hungry contender should fight, coulda got the decision without any complaints from me. Respect.

Lmao at the Williams hate. Leave him alone jeez. Funeka definitely has nothing to be ashamed of. He just didn't quite use his height and reach advantage enough to pull it out. He did a great job and deserves to get more televised fights.

Man him on the ground crying would normally annoy me, but for some reason I found it endearing. Good stuff.

Seriously though, I think this dude is a MAJOR factor at 135. Like I said in the other thread, I thought Nate JUST squeaked it out, but ****ing 115-111 was just crazy by that one judge.
I think Cabellero, P-Will and Funeka all come from the same mother. They are freaks of nature at their weight classes.

I was somewhat impressed, but to keep things in perspective, Campbell is a glorified journeyman who seized one opportunity.

I was really impressed with Funeka's heart. He was much more hurt after the 2nd knockdown, I thought it was curtains. Definitely showed balls, much respect.

Agreed. Nate simply isn't all that great. It's a shame Joan Guzman didn't make weight and pulled out of the fight. He would of boxed the brakes off his ass.
