When looking at this guy fight, he puts you in the mind of joe calzaghe.

I disagree. He actually throws technically sound punches, whereas Calzaghe often times, did not. I like(d) both fighters though.

Why? Is he most likely gay and slapping like a girl?

I disagree. Martinez correctly throws solid punches, hasn't been dropped in the first round and has fought Cintron and Bunema who aren't passed their prime. The only similarity that I saw was how he drops his hands when he is on the outside (my pops said of this: "That dude has plaster in his gloves, that's why he can't keep his hands up". )

I don't see it. Martinez is more technical and doesn't waste punches. Calzaghe depends on his work rate and doesn't throw as straight punches.

Yes they are somewhat similar in their styles. Both southpaws, both throw with their hands down, both have a bouncy rhythm to their styles.

I kinda thought the same thing. They are a lot a like.

Martinez is more in and out, Calzaghe was always a forword pressure fighter.

Martinez doesn't have anywhere near the talent or toughness that Calzaghe has. But sure, they have similarities.
