    35 Years Is Enough

I've loved boxing since age 5. But I'm done with it. I don't give a **** about Kermit Cintron and I know nothing about Sergio Gabriel Matinez. But this was the last straw. Two non head-buts, a revoked knock-out, a bull**** point deduction and a draw. ALL IN THE SAME ****ING FIGHT! And nothing against my brothers and sisters in "third world" countries but this happens in the US on HBO??? Boxing is a beautiful sport but it's irreparable. I can't watch these guys put it all on the line and get treated like this anymore. It's just not worth it. I have immeasurable respect for ANYONE that gets in the ring. But I want them all to find something else to do. It's simply not worth it. Look at what's going on. The streets are more predictable, lucrative and offer a similar career span. It kills me to say it but boxing is done.
    Peace.
