Not the worst robbery I've seen, but yeah, I thought Martinez clearly won that fight and I was pullin' for Cintron. Bad judging.

I know that looks cn sometimes be deceiving, but Cintron looked like he got jumped in an alley when the fight was over, and Martinez looked like he was never touched.

This whole damn fight was a joke. Ugly style matchup and none of the boxers did anything. This was a bore fest and though the fight should have been won by Martinez he didn't do anything amazing to prove he really wanted it more. In the end what could have been a good match just didn't live up to expectations.

Cintron can thank his lucky stars this bout was so close to the MargaritoGate.
The 2 judges must have subconsciously scored the close rounds to his favor out of sympathy, knowing his 2 blemishes came from Margo. That referee Frank Santore Jr. even gave Kermit a gift, by way of a dubious 1 point deduction in the 12th and final round, I wouldn't even talk about the mulligan he gave to Cintron in the 7th round...

I feel sorry for both boxers. I do have to watch the fight again, but from my stand-point (I was sober and alone) I have to say that Martinez suffered an injustice and that Kermit was given a pass that will be more costly down the road.

There was a time that I was on kermit's bandwagon, but the kid once again showed me why he is a good B+ fighter. He has great physical gifts, but he lacks the instinct to be a "Killer" in the ring. Once again, today we has almost broken down and he was ready to quite. My take is that everytime he faces a talented B+/A fighter he is gonna come up short - by the way as a Puertorican born in Carolina (his same town) I was dissapointed by the lack of class he showed.
