i don't have HBO so I'll join in this thread.

i have to buy the whole batch of premium channels to have a right to have HBO...**** that

around 70 dollars...when all i need in cable is the basic 20 dollar package.....

In most areas a single cable company pretty much holds a monopoly, I just happen to live in an area where I can go with two different companies. I guess the competition might explain the lower prices that I get.

Thats ****ed up for 40 bucks I could get HD service in 2 rooms with DVR along with Starz and Cinemax on top of HBO and SHOW.

Well it's Charter Communications. It started out at $10 each per month over a year ago. And slowly but surely it kept creeping up until it got to be around $18 a month each, so I had them cut.

Charter always does **** like that.

i think it is the same price here in florida with comcast about 18
