Well just watch Manny on the mitts with Freddie he throws alot of them overhand rights. So based on that i would say skill.

Same punch Quintana kept landing on Williams in their first fight, ducked under a long punch (Williams punch was usually his lazy jab, this case its an over extended hook) and overhand counter before he even came up.

Actually its pretty common. Tiny bit of luck but its mostly skill.
