I felt bad for Jorge Arce...

I really did... The man fought his heart out only to be slaughtered by the end of the fight. I found Vic amusing prior to the fight, but I think he should have embraced his victory with a little more grace.

That fight reminded me how much of a tough business boxing really is...

I don't know about that. He was an absolute mess by the end of the fight.

YUP... I know. I was amazed to see him on his feet. It was beter that way, he can fight other day.

Don't feel sorry for him. He chose to be there and has made a solid life from boxing.

The man took a serious beating, his face was destroyed.
I don't think me feeling sorry for him is unreasonable.

Eventhough I'm a big ass Darchinyan fan, I actually felt bad for Arce too. He is a real witty, funny guy. Not like your average dumb ass boxer who just sits there and thanks god and Don King. He actually says jokes and is interesting. But, its clear his time is up and the end is near.

I really thought he had a hard time figuring out Vic's awkward style. He threw alot of lunging, off-balance punches that usually wound up with him getting countered. He showed alot of heart and a great chin. It was almost as impressive as Andrade standing up to Kessler's shots, only Vic is P4P a bigger puncher.
