What's next? Cintron gets A.I.D.S?

Tomorrow night's card was actually a pretty damn good night of fights just a week ago. Then came the news of Ricardo Mayorga having to withdraw from fighting Alfredo Angulo, due to rib injuries suffered at the hands of Shane Mosley in his last fight.

So the main event, and the fight that had the most combustible elements of the triple header was scratched. Taking Mayorga's place now is unsung journeyman Cosme Rivera 31-11 (22 KOs), you may remember Rivera as the man Zab Judah, Joel Julio, and Andre Berto all have victories over.

The next batch of bad news just broke earlier this afternoon, IBF/WBO Lightweight Champion Nate Campbell's failure to make weight for his mandatory Ali Funeka 30-1 (25 KOs). The irony here is epic, since Campbell has gone out of his way to degrade Joan Guzman for failing to make weight for their scheduled fight in May of 2008.

The fight is still going forward, but if Campbell wins the titles will be vacated and the official king of 135lbs will be crowned when Marquez and Diaz square off on February 28th.

So what's next? I say Cintron gets diagnosed with A.I.D.S before the Martinez fight and has to pull out. Golden Scholong will then be named his substitute, and he'll destroy Martinez. Building up a steady amount of hype for the rematch we're all dying to see : Golden Schlong vs. Antonio Margacheato II.

I don't know about the biggest breath of fresh air, I think there are a few other unique, creative individuals on here who ****e things up quite nicely.

As for my writing, I may need ot pursue it. Turns out the body modification industry isn't exactly recession proof. I'm already considering a career change.

When I made this thread, I actually had the fleeting idea of making a pic of an A.I.D.S. riddled Cintron to go along with it, but I really didn't bother. So I went with Golden Schlong instead.

I'll have to toy with something else.

I could never be a serious boxing writer after spending almost 3 years on this forum. I'd be too tempted to use the words "exposed", "pwn'd", "****d", "son'd", and other such adjectives. Not to mention nicknames like 'Nard, Moby, The Paler, Ping Ping, Bitchschko, The Nipple, Calslappy, etc.......
