To be honest, I always got the impression that the "men in suits" don't care about giving Glen the respect he deserves, they are happy to rob him and use him as a stepping stone to pave the way for other fighters who can make them more money. Dawson is a prime example of what I'm talking about. I thought the fight was at least a draw, and Johnson deserves a rematch (which I think he would win). But it won't happen. Johnson is 40 years old and at least half of his losses have come about via shady decisions. If Johnson was to beat Dawson, it's a potential cash cow sent out to pasture in favor of a fighter who could retire at any time, seeing as how he must be at the end of his career sometime soon.

Chad barely squeaked by, he knows it and (as far as he's concerned) the less said about it, the better. The fact that Tarver gets a rematch, but Glenco doesn't keeps me off the Dawson bandwagon.

I agree with what you said which really sucks because the guy does deserve the chance. Looking at it from a strictly financial standpoint I understand it, but as a boxing fan I don't give a **** about the promoters or sanctioning bodies making their money.

You're way off on the Dawson thing. Tarver had a rematch clause because it was his belt, Dawson didn't have a choice. I don't think Chad is afraid.
