If you were in Hatton's training camp.............

If you were in Hatton's training camp what advice would you give him for his upcoming fight with Pacquiao ? in regards to how to how he should fight, what he should do, what he shouldn't do, what game plan he should use and what flaws of Mannys can he take advantage of etc

    thoughts.

Its a 50/50 fight, hatton can win.

Ive said this before, so apologies to anyone.

      1) Circle away from Pac's left, he is still predominatly left handed, if a guy aint in line with his left, he doesnt get off as quick and can be beaten to the punch.

      2) Jab, keeps pac unbalanced, use the jab as a measuring stick, move away from the left, hatton can then lead in with the counter right to head or body, which is he actually quite decent at doing.

      3) Clinch, after he lands on pac, smother, get inside, elbow, forearm, bodyshot everything, rough him up. I think people underestimate how dangerous hatton could be to pac on the inside. So after he lands something nice, hold, clinch, smother, work inside. Then do the same again.

I think Hatton should use his jab and move his head right after throwing it while also stepping inside behind it, he needs to get inside on Pacquiao in this fight, he can't let Pacquiao get his rhythm going on the outside, then when he gets to the inside I think he should throw a few body shots then clinch Pacquiao before Pacquiao can get him back with his counter shots, wrestle around Pacquiao in the clinch, rough him up, do some Roberto Duran stuff in there to get Pacquiao further away from his rhythm. Mix it up once in a while too, down to the body then up to the head, that'll wear on Pacquiao as the fight goes on.

And he should never at any point move into Pacquiao's left hand, that's a recipe to disaster.

So the keys to me are pretty much jab, head movement and footwork to get inside. If this is an outside fight, Hatton's in trouble.

Edit: And don't lunge in, Hatton has a pretty bad habit of lunging in with his chin high, Pacquiao's counter left hand would hit him time after time if he does that.

Do what you did against Kostya Tszyu, pretend Dave Parris is the referee and hope you get away with it.

I know i'm not contributing to the thread but i just can't see how Hatton beats Pacquiao in any situation.
