The Klitschko brothers are tougher than american and british fighters because they were born in eastern europe, where life is tougher.

I dont know what to think about that.

Well I don't know how tough they had it. Their father was a Colonel in the military. They had a pretty privileged life. Wlad told me they were brought up in a strict environment, but had a great childhood.

Well seeing as Vladamir gets KTFO constantly I would have to say no.

your race or nationality doesn't dictate your toughness IMO. how you grew up can. but i don't think they had it any harder than anyone else.

I definately agree that your up bringing has an outcome on how tough you are but also where you are from has an effect certain people are very proud people so taking a beating does not faze them, they would rather die in the ring than quit

I agree... if that were the case, Sam Peter and Kassim Ouma would be the toughest mo fo's in the sport. Poor countries like Mexico and those in Eastern Europe ain't got nothing on the continent of Africa. Nigeria is hard enough... but friggin Uganda? That country forces you to become a man while you're still in utero.

Having a rough background can definitely make you a stronger person. Whether or not it makes you a better fighter or not, I have to think that it does.

But Eastern Europe is hardly the toughest place in the world to grow up in. And from what I understand, Wlad had it easy.
