Weird assumptions you've had about boxing

List here some weird assumptions you've had or have about boxing.

Mine is that I used to think any fighter with 5 losses or more was 'done' and was either a journeyman or a gatekeeper. All this changed over the past year when Margarito, Hopkins and Mosley scored huge victories with 5 losses on their record.

    Also, Glen Johnson.

Anyway. I'm gonna go with power is the last thing to go. Just untrue. Your comes from form and that can leave you when your bones and body grow older. Your joints become more rigid. All of this can dwindle away at your punch. Overall, just not true.

i used to think that in a championship bout the champion must be given extra points at the start of the fight so that it will be hard for them to loose their belt. a friend of mine told me this when we were watching lewis vs holyfield
