Deep down inside, he knows he fought them for the money. He wanted to live like those rich, white Englishmen he idolized growing up. A shame he has to resort to lies.
Chris Eubank is teh most genuine and least conceited sportsman I have ever met, when he talks about respect he's not interested in fans respect he's interested in other boxers repect.

Boxers respect Eubank and thats what matters to him.

Which is why he disliked toney so much, because toney doesn't respect anyone.

I'm quoting from memory here so it's not word accurate "fans are fickle, one minute your the greatest, the next your a bum, but boxers know who's a great fighter, they KNOW."

His greatest legacy is his friendship with Watson, I know that is the most important thing boxing has given him.

Eubanks one of the fighters i respect most. Don King called him the most intelligent fighter he'd ever come across, when King tried signing him.

      I believe everything he's written.

He wrangled out of a King contract somehow.

I have a lot of time for Eubank. A thoroughly decent guy and much more down to earth than people would expect.

Eubanks is one of the very few who understands that kites rise against the wind and not with the wind......his career was based off people wanting to see him get KTFO......it worked FOR him! Big Ups Chris!

He was quite hated at one time, now most people think he is a bit of a joke. Decent fighter, but once he got that money for his 'world tour', and obviously the Watson fight, he lost it. I don't think he would have beaten Toney, or Jones Jr, but would have given them a good fight.

He was VERY hated at one time, by most of England.

That was in the second Benn fight, the contract wasnt valid in the event of a draw which i guess King never saw coming.
I despised Eubank when he was champ and like many WBO kinpins he fought alot of nobodies, he also fought some very good fighters/champions and i now see him as one of our best champions. When he wanted to he could box beautifully (Wharton), had one of the best chins ever and he could ****.
Style wise Jones Jr was all wrong for him and he would have been soundly beaten imo but i think he would of caught Nunn. A Toney fight would have been interesting, Eubank wouldnt have had any trouble with the version that showed up against Jones. Against Calzaghe he took the fight at extremely short notice (3 weeks i think) and barely ate a thing to make weight

He boxed beautifully against Thornton, as well as Wharton. Probably even more beautifully against Thornton actually. But he didn't run out of stamina against Wharton, as he did against Thornton.
