about cotto's stans; tell me, what is it about them?

Stans in general are annoying. That's pretty much it. People who are so blinded by their fanboyship of their fighter that they refuse to see the shortcomings of them are just ****ing annoying.

A Cotto stan would never say something like I said about how I see Wright-Williams playing out (Williams getting a 9-3 or 8-4 decision because Winky is old, inactive and generally bad against volume punchers), because they cannot, for any reason, see their fighter losing.

For instance, a Cotto stan said that Cotto's textbook technical boxing skills are just as good as Floyd Mayweather's...

I guess that's why Cotto put his ass on the ropes all night against Margarito instead of using lateral movement and not going straight back? Really, if Cotto has the boxing skills of Mayweather, he would have not pinned his ass on the ropes so often and gotten himself into trouble so often. Handwraps or not, Cotto put himself in harm's way quite a bit.

cotto stans are also bandwagoners... when cotto got beat, they already jumped onto the juanma bandwagon, but now because of mosley/marg and the plaster-gate, they dont even talk about juanma anymore and are back on the cotto bandwagon.

Baldomir was one of the worst judging I have EVER witnessed. Pure robbery.

Mayweather. Won 4 rounds count the KD and he won the last round. Would have been a draw.

Cotto. Numerous low blows, headbuts, rabid punches etc. Cotto is a cheat and never deserved the win.

Clottey. Only lost that fight as 30 seconds of round 8 were counted if they were not Zab would have got a draw. Head but meant Clottey should have been dq anways.

Tszyu was winning the second round before it was stopped... Zab's legs weren't working, the stoppage was just fine.

I haven't seen the Baldomir fight.

Winning 5 rounds and getting a 10-8 round for a knockdown is 114-113 for the other guy mathematician. Mayweather kicked his ass for the majority of that fight, and Judah did not clean sweep the first 4.

Cotto hit low once that really was significant. The other was a show by Judah... Plus, you want to talk about dirty... that headbutt that cut Cotto looked intentional. Cotto made your boy turn, run and quit. Well done to Zab Judah for turning his back on a fight.

That cut for the Clottey fight is disputed, as a punch or a butt, and it certainly wasn't intentional... yet another dumb analysis of a fight.

Judah's ONLY win that he can hang his hat on is the rematch KO of Cory Spinks... hats off to him for that.

Some Cotto fans are so ****in irritating. They don't shut up about the Margarito thing, they don't even entertain the idea that it's possible Tony didn't use them against Cotto. Basically, most of the Cotto fans here are nothing like Cotto himself...a lot of them, not all of course, but a lot of them act like they're ****in 12 years old.

Any fan that thinks any fighter has some magical property that makes them unbeatable. All boxers are human, and any man can be defeated. That is annoying to me.

when you argue with people that have their own underlining hypocrisy's, they call you a stan for arguing with them about it.it's ridiculous.
I've never said miguel was stronger than a locomotive etc.
in fact I've criticized his training, his trainer, and his lifestyle
(which is none of my business, but i think if he was a little more committed to being great, he would be).
my point is, most of cotto's fans that I've dealt with are nowhere near the ridiculous stans people who argue against cotto, make them out to be.

these two sets of e-gangs are cotto's main detractors.

To me it is really the same with every fighter. People from any group can be annoying, especially when talking in absolutes (this is another thing that gets me about fan boys, when I think about a fight I think about what % chance each fighter has of winning roughly, fan boys almost never give the opponent a shot at winning when in reality there are no sure things in boxing and when you step into the ring no one really knows what will take place). To me it really depends on what fighters you like as to which stans are the worst.

6. When is he going to beat 2 top 10 undefeated pound 4 pound fighters?
7. When is he going to have 8 title defense in one division?
8. When is he going to Fight Paul Williams
9. When is he going to actually win a title?
10. When is he going to stop fighting for vacant titles?
11. When is he going to improved his defense?
12. When is he going to fight Joshua Clottey?
13. When is he going to beat Margarito?
14. When is he going to learn how to stop upper cuts and straight right hands
15. When is he going to prove that he is hall of fame worthy...
16. When is he going to take a fight in which he is not ready and not favored?

I never Hear Cotto fans demanding Cotto go improve his legacy..why it that??? By they are up night and day worrying about Mayweather's legacy

I'm not saying I don't think it's possible. In fact, putting all diplomacy aside, I think it's probable. I'm just sayin let it go. The day of the verdict there were like 10 threads popping up of Cotto fans just sticking it to Marg for the sake of it. It's immature and irritating. I'm just sayin it's better to let **** play out. Obviously it's going to be something on our minds, I know it's on mine. But a huge number of Cotto fans just can't handle themselves with any maturity on the situation. They just can't resist taking cheap shots, it's annoying.
