the list was based on a points system rather than opinion, if you read the bottom it tells you what the points are for, as always the stats dont lie bt opinions do, this isnt a list of what you think its a list of what is fact, Calzaghe though is a legend regardles if you like it or not, its in the stats to back up opinion

We don't know that at all. For your sake I hope a MW Jermain Taylor doesn't go in there and beat Froch up. Furthermore, I'm not referring today I'm referring to historically.

        Interesting list.

I can't say I agree with almost any of it but it'll surely be a subject for some debate.

Funny how a lot less people had a problem with the Cruiserweight list he created using the exact same formula.

Sorry if I misunderstood your post. No question that historically LHW>>>>>>>>>>>>>SMW.

Why are you saying that I should hope for (the highly unlikely scenario for) Froch to beat up Taylor?

I haven't read the article in depth yet (will do tonight), but I would say that Ottke probably should be higher.

In terms of competition yes, but not based on quality.

No, I'm saying I'm impressed by very, very few super middles today...no more than two. However, there are a lot more prospects at super middle...which isn't surprising. By the time they hit their prime, they'll be LHW's.

Andre Ward boxed at 175 in the Olympics and he is now fighting at 168. You can bet in a few years time Ward will be back at 175, he already looks big for the weight, infact Kessler looks more like a 175 than a 168lbs to me.

By that standard you should also put in that by the time Pavlik and Abraham hit their prime they'll be SMW's.
