So can someone please give me the str8 update on the Hatton vs. Paco? I haven't heard anything solid from the Filipino community. Last thing i heard is that they were still signing papers and Hatton was threatening to pull out.

I'm pretty sure that Paco's gonna whoop on Hatton, even though i am a Hatton fan. Too much speed. Paco's almost got Mayweather speed.

Maybe Pacquiao have two more fights before they realized that Pacman is in different level,,,if they will based their observation on his past fights, maybe they have not observed that Pacman is always changing his style,he is so good that he can manipulate the result of the fight, most of his past fights are investment fights, maybe partly because he is a gambler...the only point of referrence so that you can gauge on how good he is, is his annihilation of Barrera on 2003 and Dela hoya last 2008...and maybe you will see again the real Pacman if he will fight against Mayweather, against Hatton? No,,,it may have an unpredictable ending...only History will tell,,,this fighter is at a different level.

            drunk and blind

what Beard is talking about? how come hatton became the most difficult opponent of Floyd when He (hatton) cant even hit Floyd with a clear shot in the head. i am a fan of hatton and pacman but his (Beard) words better left unspoken. its nonsense, maybe his brain gone down to his butt that he can think right no more. pacman and hatton would be a great fight. good luck to both..

Hatton is strong and fast. He goes to the body hard and often and when he's in shape, he doesn't get tired.

I also agree with his trainer in that I think a properly prepared Hatton would have put a bad hurtin' on both Oscar and Diaz on the nights that Pac did.

Pacman is a badass and seems to improve his skills with each fight. He also seems to carry the added weight very well without discernible detriment to his speed or power. But it's hard to tell how much of Pac's destruction of DLH was Manny being great and how much of it was DLH being a shadow of his former self...

Maybe Pac will blow him out, but this is a gigantic opportunity for Hatton. I have to think that we will see Ricky at his very best for this one. Imo the reffing will be very important. If Hatton can push and bully, rush in and hit and then hold and maneuver his man to the ropes and keep him there, it could be a long night for Team Pacquiao.

On the other hand, if the fight stays in the center of the ring, Pac outboxes to a UD or maybe even a late stoppage of some kind.

Where's this fight gonna' take place again?

In any case, it should be a great fight and I still don't know who to pick.

If Ricky catches Pac with some of the shots that Paulie took he will be sparked out. Paulie has got a wonderfull chin, and impressive recorperative powers (far greater then Pac) but Hatton's jabs alone where busting him up and snapping his head back. Before anybody says it, yes Pac is a fast southpaw - but he is not hard to hit, and cannot fight backwards.
