Will Margarito be Remembered as a Cheater or for his so called "big wins"?
Puerto Rican, Mexican, Filipino, White, Black...or anyone else that knows about boxing...Anyone with half a brain will never look at Margarito the same(just like Aroid). He has done something that will stay with him till the day he dies. I guarantee this. It will be the most infamous thing he has done that will make people remember him the most.
There has been too much media coverage and to many seeds of doubt planted.
YOU WANT PROOF?
My proof is..... Resto is still talked about. Not Collins record. Not Resto's wins or Collins wins. People still (Mexicans mostly, especially recently as a defense for Margarito) talk about Trinidad's Illegal Wraps. We hear people talk about Oscar De La Hoya's "extra knuckle wraps".
But Margarito has had more negative media coverage than all of them so he will Forever be remembered as a cheater. It will be his legacy.
Anyone believe otherwise?
