In most other sports, if an athlete or professional commits an offence and is penalised as seriously as a year ban, that means, a year ban.

To all the people who are calling Cotto a chicken in this thread, he isn't saying that Margarito should be banned only that the suspension be respected universally. He isn't making an excuse to duck him or avoid a fight which was already scheduled for June, but soley that Margar-cheater do his time. I happen to agree with Cotto on the subject that suspensions sould be universally recognized.
