Wish it could happen, but there just isn't enough money. Cotto's quote is a minimum of $3 mill, Mosley's has gotta be around that. Plus Berto and Clottey bring no money to the table, so Cotto and Mosley would much rather fight Pac, Hatton, Floyd, or Oscar if any of those fights were available.(Would also be easier fights sans Floyd.)

it's gonna happen.and it should happen jun 13.whoever the hell comes out on top will be a bigger star.and would be more of an attractive fight for the hattons, and pacquiao's and mayweather's of the world.
if cotto or mosley are undisputed, pac and hatton will fight them.

I wish this were possible, unfortunatly there's not enough money to go around. I dont think the promoters are the problem though. Maybe HBO can try to work out something where Berto and Clottey fight on the week following Cotto/Mosley, or something similar to that.

Then there are also the sanctioning bodies. If one of them need to make a mandatory or have the belt stripped that could throw a wrench into the tournament as well.

the only one who would probably have an issue is dibella cause his fighter is the youngest of the bunch.I'm sure that gbp is confident in mosley, and arum would have 2 fighters in it, he has a better chance at having a victor than the other two promoters.

that's why the 2 fights should happen on the same day. there is more than enough time to fight a mandatory before the year is up.

As much as Bob Arum has a tendency to rub me the wrong way, I feel like out of all the promoters, he's the most motivated to make things happen.
