Miguel cotto: Have his stocks & fanbase raised?

I wish I could change my vote to YES... I was in the process of typing out how one boxer's performance in an unrelated bout can't possibly boosts your own stock.... but then as I was typing I realized... Bernard's win over Pavlik did cause Joe's win over Bernard to be more significant.

the situation makes him look better.. i still think he's slightly overrated, but i also think his loss should be changed to a no contest.. also, even though i dont really like cotto, i hope he wasnt affected long term for the beat down he took from margarito..

Im sure this will bring alot of fans back to miguel, however i tell thoes fake fas to f*uck off. I like many stood by him as loyal fan throught thick and thin, like true fan. Id rather miguel have 100 true fans than 1000 banwagon fans.

Miguel Cotto has always been praised for his ability to fight anyone anywhere. As much as his nuthuggers are annoying, I still see him as a bad ass mf.

im asking a simple question. .do you think if with this situation his stocks or fanbase have grown.?. not going into the argument of if margie indeed use the loaded glove against cotto... that fight @ this stage is irrelevant... nobody say **** by that time... so... saying other thing at this moment doesnt matter and woulndt have change the outcome of the decision the california commision took yesterday.....

cotto's stock has grown but really it shouldn't.
