hatton vs cotto in the near future?

I know rickys fighting manny next but its still possible in the near future the manchester god could take on puerto rican sensation Miguel cotto. Just wandered how you guys would see predict how it would play and who wins. Cheers guys

its possible that hatton and cotto meet if pac beats hatton and mosley beats cotto in a losers bracket. cotto will destroy hatton at 147... at 140 hatton has a great chance to upset cotto.

To me it's a very hard fight to pick. Prior to the Hatton-Mallignaggi fight, I would have said Cotto but in light of how easily the HITMAN handled Paulie, it has me questioning the results. I chose Hatton by TKO/KO based on the fact that Cotto has been hurt more times in fights than Hatton and was first stopped in less fights against a less solid fighter than Ricky.

love both of these great fighters, but i do not see hatton beating cotto. Cotto would both out box and out slug Hatton.....

At 140 and/or at a catchweight Ricky wins. At 147 Cotto wins.

In fairness,I think Hatton is a much better boxer than he is given credit for.I say Hatton would win,but thats prob more down to support! Close fight though,if it happenend a few years back when miguel was at lw,then I think hatton would have won handily.He has never really looked comfortable at 147 though,but he always comes to fight

Hatton couldnt hang with cotto...he couldnt push cotto around, and cotto would drop him if floyd could. Cotto would destroy him but at least hatton would make some money. He definelty wouldnt be coming out with a win, i dont even think hatton would beat bradley or torres in his own division never mind the best at 147..hatton will get smashed by manny this spring anyway, he better hope hes not seriously hurt in that fight.
