I was watching the Burgos fight last night and that guy has some major defensive flaws that his unorthodoxy is not gonna cover/mask forever, he has already been brutally knocked out once. Ive seen Vic against Donaire,Mijares,Arce,Burgos and im not convinced.

I'll co-sign this. Arce's slow/wide looping punches made it easy for Vic. When he gets in there with someone else who's more of a boxer,quicker and throws straight punches he will be in trouble.

Yes, he can be knocked out again, he's still flawed defensively but there's no denying that he's become a much better fighter since the Donaire fight.

If he indeed does move up to Bantamweight it will definitely happen. I could see Vazquez doing it but if for some reason he fights Jaun Manuel Lopez, he'll get knocked silly.

Don't you think what did say it's exatly what people think about Mijares before the fight??? I agree Vic isn't Floyd but he was fighting very inteligent fight with Mijares and won all the rounds.

He would definitely have problems if he faces a great boxer, but it needs to be one who can **** and who has a great chin. Bring on Vazquez. Both of these guys want to fight. Let's just hope Shaw gives it the go-ahead. Vazquez isn't the most technically proficient fighter, but I wouldn't doubt he could win pretty easily.

He beat Mijares, but ill bet you he dont consistently get away with it against these type of fighters.
