whether he's right or wrong this is what makes arum a hof promoter. He is always behind his fighters NO MATTER WHAT!! That's more than you can say about 3/4 of these promoters in this cruel world. Just like when dlh was accused of **** in mexico and arum paid the lady 1 million dollars out his own pocket to settle out of court. Where would dlh be if arum let it go to trial? Arum is the type of guy you want on your side. He's powerful, has a lot of money, and will stand by his fighters at all costs! As a fighter that's exactly what you want in a promoter!

I think Arum shouldve waited until the substance is identified before he blasts the CSAC. If it turns out to be nothing more than extra guaze and tape then he'll have a gripe but not if its a plaster like substance. IMO if the substance is plaster like then theres no way in hell Margo didnt know about it and deserves everything thats handed down to him, but if its just tape and guaze Margo probably didnt know it was illegal. I honestly would believe him if it turns out to be nothing more than that, Margo has had no prior issues with his wraps so he most likely thought it was normal to have that extra bit in there.

exactly that's why I get a kick out of these posters acting like arum is doing something wrong here. **** if I was a fighter I would love arum as a promoter, not only does he do a good job in promoting he sticks behind his fighters 100% NO MATTER what!!!!! I think a 1yr suspension is fair for Margarito, Besides it is only in California and possibly Nevada, This does not stop a Re-match from happening in New York against Cotto Later this year!!!!

There is nothing to moan about... both Margarito and his trainer are to blame for doing it, they both knew about it. It doesn't matter on who took full responsibility to it because Margarito still new and did unsporting-like conduct.

Both of there faults it happened... both are to blame, Arum is just pissed because he has missed out on a year's worth of paydays from Margarito's fights... that's the real reason for him blasting at the California Commission.

Arum needs to understand that his fighter did something very dangerous to his opponents and he needs to take the consequences and be responsible in his actions... because if he wasn't banned it would let other people think you can get away with that kind of stuff and encourage other people to do it more.

In a way this is good because it has sent a message to many people out there, saying; don't try it unless your prepared to pay the consequences.

At the end of the day it dosn't matter if margarito knew or not about what was going in his wraps because every fighter in the world would claim they didn't know what was going on.

We'll end up having a lot of fighters trying to gain an advantage 1 way or another then claiming they knew nothing about it. Margarito might not have know but his the king of his camp and has to make sure nothing illegal was going on

There was deffently wrong doing in the cotto fight because Cotto's face was a mess and cut to ribbens without even being hit flush, his face was cut to ribben's even when cotto was beating margarito. Margarito couldn't even put a dent in mosley so thats gotta say something

Arum can go suck a big one, he is trying to make Margarito look innocent, thats why he is over reacting, so we can change our minds of what happened in January 24th, if im a fighter i would watch my hands being wrapped so i can put my senses in it in case it feel or dont feel comfortable therefore id see them wrap them, and wait... dont they have pictures of Margarito looking at the trainer wrap his hands? aint he aware of everything?
