The Calderon explanation is high comedy.

Calderon is more Ottke than he is Lopez. Lopez would destroy Calderon, and it likely wouldnt make the halfway point of the fight.

Miffs me to know in, that people think by dropping Calderon on their list it makes them some sort of hardcore inside boxing fan.

Chad dawson at 26 years of age already has a resume containing Adamek, Tarver (soon to be twice). Glen Johnson... He is ****ing 11 years younger than Calzaghe was when he retired and Calzaghe was top 3 on 40 year olds Jones and Bernard, Kessler and Lacy, 4 names arguably worth notice. Chad at 26 alread has 3 names worth noticing. So you can't really say nothing about a young 26 year old be on the top of the game. Besides, he's really talented i think, not a hypejob. On a second note, when you're 26 and coming up, it's common to be fighting some older veterans so you get more experience. YOU are NOT supposed to be doing that for the whole of your career if you want to get any respect. So i say Adamek = Kessler, Glen = Bernard and Tarver = Jones record wise its a good match. Not bad for a 26 year old huh? How long did it take Zaghe to have such names on his record? 10 more years, that's the answer. So quit your double standards and get used to Chad, he's gonna be here a while longer than 2 fights because lets be honest, no one is gonna elect Dawson for any p4p rank if he pulls a Joe, fighting 2 veterans, making a dvd and retire. He knows it all too well.

Calzaghe was top 4 on Lacy (for ring belt) Kessler (No1 contender) Hopkins (Top 5 P4P).

He was top dog in SMW for 3-4 years and beat the top LHW.

Dawson isn't even top LHW, and LHW is teh worst and weakest division in Boxing, as Jones being ranked No6 proves, the guy has been shot for 3 years at least.

            Hopkins @ 43 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Johnson + Tarver @ 40 put together.

Dawson was a nobody 18 months ago.

His last 8 fights has 3 top 10 divisional opponents (highest being Johnson ranked 3), none ranked P4P.

Calzaghes last 8 fights has 5 top 10 divisional (Highest being BHop/Kessler ranked 2 behind Cal) and 1 ranked P4P.

Hatton who's not on the list's last 8 fights are 8 top 10 divisional (highest being PBF ranked 1 P4P) 3 ranked P4P. 1 loss should not drop you below a guy who's way behind you in divisional victory's.

Darchinyan, Nonito Donaire, Ricky Hatton, Juan Manuel Lopez, Chris John, Kelly Pavlik, Arthur Abraham, cabbellero, the Klitcho brothers, Campbell and juan Diaz all have a case for being above Dawson.

Not to mention I don't believe he won the Johnson fight.

if ur judging based on current accomplishments, then calzaghe > dawson. that's a no brainer cause calzaghe has been in the game much longer than dawson.

but if you look at what dawson has done and what a 27 year old calzaghe has done, you must conclude that dawson > 27 yr old calzaghe.

Totally but what would you say if I said Calzaghe was top 10 P4P aged 27?

We are talking P4P based on the last 2-3 years boxing not compairing aged 27.
