I will go on record and say that COTTO will not be the same after his fight with Margarito. I believe that fight with Margarito will have lasting effects on his ability to take and absorb punches. He may go down as another Vargas. Vargas was never the same after the Trinidad fight. Cotto may beat Jennings, whoever he is, but if Cotto faces another strong punchers like Berto or Mosley. He will get knocked out!

I think cotto did fine in taking that knee... he took a lot of punishment.. but it wasnt near as damaging as vargas.... vargas was killed on the line.... cotto didnt went that far.. .so im just praying & expecting that he did it early enough!!! (taking the knee)

on a side note.... mosley can ko cotto but berto aint doing **** bro.. hes as green as his belt...

U can't say that yet. The fact that he took the knee when he felt he couldn't continue might have prevented that from happening. That usually happens when u go fight after fight taking beatings ala Gatti OR when u get KTFO! ala Vargas. This hasn't happen to Cotto yet.
