its really very simple the difference. yeah they both have cheated but what ppl who say this need to realise is this. mosley taking steroids was never gonna kill de la hoya it would just have let shane take a bit more punishment and raised his endurance. margarito could have seriously and permenantly danages shane if not killed him so i dont see how you can justify that mosley is worse than margarito even if mosley did actually no what was going on

Mosley actually fought in a high profile fight while on steroids. Antonio Margarito's team attempted to fight with loaded gloves in a high profile fight but was caught.

No proof of Margarito using loaded hand wraps in other fights so no one can say anything.

Yes they both cheated, but Shane being on steroids is much less likely to kill someone.

For the record. Margarito has always been one of my favorite boxers. I'm heart broken that Antonio and his team did this, so you can't say I'm a hater.

This sport is dangerous enough when following the rules. What Antonio did is unforgivable as far as I'm concerned, and disgraceful.

If people really want to analyze the small details... well, articles have stated that the CSAC said Marg's raps were "firm" NOT "rock" solid. (Whatever "firm" means in this case, I dunno. What I do know is that it sounds dangerous.) But it doesn't matter anyways, the majority believes Marg had cement in his hands and will believe that forever.

But do you remember when people were saying after the Cotto fight that Marg must have been on steroids because how could he take Cotto's devasting punches? They were saying steroids gave him superhuman strength. If that's some people's argument of what steroids do in an athlete's body, then you have to argue that steroids give your punches extra power as much as the ability to withstand punches. I mean, I don't proclaim to be an expert on steroids, but wouldn't that be the case?

But in the end, the fact that ANYTHING was found in Margarito's gloves is a violation...

I see what you're saying. At the end of the day, though, if you were forced to be punched in the face by a professional boxer wearing either loaded gloves or raging on steroids.... It's not much of a choice is it? It's gonna hurt either way.

Then the argument turns to lasting damage... That's why people are saying loaded gloves are worst, especially when there's past proof of it.

Bottom line, this is f**ked up either way you slice it. It sucks on so many levels.

Wow I was just about to post this exact thought.
Dont get me wrong, steroids are not cool, and thats cheating. But if I lost a fight against a guy on steroids, I would feel just as bad about it. If I lost to a guy with loaded gloves, I would feel okay about that. And Id fight a guy on steroids over the same guy with loaded gloves any day of the week.

Mosley could have killed Oscar with his enhanced strenth and endurance, people talk about handwraps being the only way to kill someone but in many cases it has been due to too many punches landing.

I thought i would read a buch of Margarito fans making excuses instead i see a bunch fof Mosley **** riders.

I always wondered how Mosley had that endurance in the 12 round of there first fight with Delahoya, while he was fading then comes back really strong.

There both cheaters. Mosley clearly used steriods in his other bouts. With Margarito were not sure because he was "never" considered a puncher or dangerous puncher.
