I disagree with you. I would not have done that, I would have questioned him. Thats me, though, and my personality. I am probably a little bit smarter than Antonio Margarito.

Hope your right, bro. For Margarito's sake I hope he thought it was all kosher. He does not seem like the type of guy to do something like that on purpose, not that I know him personally. Hopefully it was a lack of awareness, not character.

I see your point but it is in his best interest to know what is legal but Im not sure what happened or what was in the glove so cant comment. I would never chose to cheat thats like admitting your not as good as your opponent before the fight.

If I was Margarito I would be like "Damn, I got my ass kicked by an old man!"

Margarito trusted Capetillo with the fact that the hard substance was no big deal.

Margarito just followed the instructions of his trainer and father figure.

This is my opinion on all of this. I am not saying i approve of what could have happened with this hard substance. They deserve punishments that are proportion to the act.
I see what you mean but look at it this way, the people who recently lost to Margarito think about the possibility of they were cheated against too, the millions of dollars denied to them, the tittle chances they lost. People like Cotto, Clottey, Cintron... What these guys lost because of Margarito's blind obedience to his "father figure" trainer. Margarito should be made an example out of, that's the only way the cloud can be removed and that will return some of the lost credibility for boxing. Let Margarito slide and we will lose even more credibility, simple choice really. A simple fix which would avoid all this would be making hand wraps public and part of the fight's footage.

If I was a boxer for 15 professional years..

I'd know what's going on with my wraps.

If I had a "father-son" relationship with someone, i'd know exactly what there doing with my wraps.

Margarito's trainer wasn't fighting, Margarito was, so obviously Margarito knew.

So this BS about "Don't blame him, its this guys fault blah blah" is a cop out. please stop and USE common sense.

Speak for yourself. I doubt that you know anybody you're talking to well enough to know what they'd do.

                  This is a losing battle.

                  Move on.

This is coming from a very gullible 17 year old. What if Capetillo said that he wanted to stick something up your ass and it's no big deal?

He is wrapping your hands in front of you... if he puts something that isn't suppose to be there. Saying nothing says something.... Using loaded gloves is unacceptable.
