My previous basis for defendin Marg on this was he's never been a scary 1 punch killer or done career endin damage to his opponents. But to hell wit it. I've lost faith in the guy. He's a cheat and I can't respect him now.

i was a fan because of his story man, i had posted that before. i mean here is a guy that comes from tijuana and has his brother killed the night before one of his fights. Then he still fights and wins after hearing the news of his brothers death. marries his highschool sweetheart and decides not to have kids until he is where he wants to be in his career. everyone avoids him, maybe not cuz they are scared but for some reason no one gives him a chance. he worked hard since the age of 15 fight against guys twice his age. and it took him this long to get to the pinnicle of his career.... i don't know his story seems amazing, thats y i was a big fan. but it sux that it will end like this.

You just voiced my feelings....I know I talk a lot about him but the truth is I use to say those same things...I wish it wasn't true and yes it bothers me a little more that he beat Cotto because I honestly feel that he didnt do it fairly and no telling how many others he did this too...that also adds to my anger.

You are absolutely right when you say we have "plenty more greater, honorable, hardworking, and Champion fighters that respect the sport you and I love", and I never lost that fact even when I was rooting for Margarito. I always told my casual boxing fan friends that Margarito was probably the most popular but certainly not our best champ.

As for the final comment in your post, refer to my first paragraph. Repeat as often as necessary.

What you forget is that from the first announcement....it was obvious...the first statements were "Margarito found with ILLEGAL substance in wraps"....what part of ILLEGAL did you not understand? The date, which is today was a hearing to determine punishment and we all knew this except the blind.
Funny thing is its so obvious its almost funny.
