LMAO@ "I accidentally placed this in his wrap". That's the funniest **** I've ever heard. He's been a trainer for what? 15 years or so? And Margarito has been fighting for like 15 years and he didn't know what was in his wraps was illegal? hahaha.. I hope both of these cheating bastards get banned for life.. Cotto, Clottey, Williams, and Cintron are all looking alot better right now.

A lot of people figured this is what would happen. It's Tony's perfect out. I don't see why they would do anything but this. What I don't understand is how Tony will proceed with his career after this. I wonder if he will lose fans and big fights after this.

I would love for an admission to be made about the cotto fight, but it wont. Just the way hes saying accidently lets you know there trying to downplay the whole thing. Capetillo is laying on the sword for his fighter but i hope the comiision sees right thru it and still punishes margarito, and best believe that if hes not suspendid and miguel gets him again in june, this time it will be a totally different story! And how do you accidently do it twice!?! It was in both hands..

Is it just me or is there numerous same day articles on this from the same author, pretty much all starting with the same exacty stuff, then some measley few lines at the end which is actually about the title. What a mess, talk about trigger happy.

Originally the team said the wraps were just too high and wrapped too thick or whatever.

How comes now all of a sudden, the trainers saying oh I accidentally put stuff on, sorry.

The boxing comission is probably all Cotto-huggers.. That explains everything!

The stain part is especially damaging as it would prevent the possibility that they "didn't notice" if something had somehow found its way into the wrap as there would be no excuse for overlooking something a completely different color. A harder insert was found on his right hand after the wrap was taken off.

There probably won't be too many major developments in the story until Mid-March which is when state officials said they would know more about what the exact substance on the insert would be known.

But looking at the facts it is becoming quite clear that Margarito had to have known what was going on. Also hiring a big time lawyer for a state athletic commission hearing (very different from a criminal court trail) seems to hint to me that he knows he is guilty and is going to need to bring in some big guns.
Inspector Che Guevara testified in three years and 150 hand wraps he had never seen such a pad.

"It was sweat-soaked, thinner and harder in certain areas, not hard as a rock, but firm and hard," Guevara said, adding it had a stain "like old blood" on it. "It was not flexible. It was very firm."
