If he didn't have flaws in his gameplan, he'd of made it to the final bell, but I've never been hit with Plaster of Paris....either way he could of done better.

So, its established that a harder hitting Mexican might knock Miguel out, for future reference. Alfredo Angulo? Now since their might not be a rematch, I wanna see them have a match...or Victor Ortiz

        1. Flaws in Cotto's game plan.

        2. The enormous bricks in Margarito's gloves.

Loaded wrapss or not, his best punches did no damage and he was worn down. Hard to discount the loaded wrap **** now tho.

It was the wraps, Miguel just wanted to make an exiting fight and if it wasn't for the wraps people would be saying it was a brilliant gameplan.

If Cotto gets hit that often in any fight he will probably lose it.

Regardless of the bricks or not, I still think there's some power in Tony's punches. Moments before the Mosley fight, he was told to rewrap his hands a second and then a third time.

While generally speaking Margarito was outclassed in that fight, he had some, though and far in between, moments where he clipped Mosley.

Not sure where those moments were, but I remember one of them was in round 8, around 1:30 into it. I think Mosley got caught with Marg's predictable left uppercut, overhand right combination. Mosley kept his composure, though. It looked genuinely forceful, though. Not sure if its diminutive effectiveness was due to Marg's punches being really weak OR...Mosley's chin.

                I dunno.

Im a big fan of cotto and i still am. But truth is cotto lacks defense. He was doing good against margarito until he found his back against the ropes. Before the mosley margarito fight i wasnt even giving cotto a chance to beat tony in the rematch but im sure cotto a student of the game picked up a few things to beat margarito from that bout.
