Olivares-Arguello was indeed a great fight, Olivares did a very good job at pressuring Arguello throughout the fight but Arguello was just too much for him in the end.

I think Mancini,Olivares,Pryor all gave him trouble fighting on the inside, but only Pryor was able to avoid Alexis's power, because Pryor had a little subtle move where he would move off to the side after punching etc.

One thing Arguello was, was very very consistent and he could punch hard to the body and hand.
I agree, Arguello did not like the movers, Fernandez beat him with movement when he was in the middle of his reign, Arturo Leon gave him trouble with his movement and obviously Pryor did as well.

He was OK at fighting on the inside but it definitely was not where he was at his best, he did his best work when he got some separation, when he could get full extension on his shots.

Yeah i felt Fernandez also gave him trouble in the rematch too, although Arguello won the fight quite clearly.

Vilomar Fernandez was a decent little fighter i thought, he gave Duran a really good fight too, allthough Duran got too him eventually.

Thats what i should of said "He was OK at fighting on the inside but it definitely was not where he was at his best"

Fernandez didn't fight as good a fight in the second fight, maybe it was age catching up to him a little, he couldn't keep up the movement like he did in the first fight, he was constantly moving on Arguello in the first fight and picked his shots really well, never stayed still long enough for Arguello to get his shots off.

Fernandez was a good fighter, he gave pretty much everybody a tough night win or lose.

Arguello really knew how to dig those shots into the body on the inside.

            Yep.

I thought Arguello was gonna take him out at one point in the fight, he was taking some viscous body punches.

Escalera 1 was a good underrated fight too i thought. Strange decision to stop that fight i thought.

Arguello was really good at wearing down his opponents with his body shots, especially the left hook.

Both Escalera fights were good, although the first one was probably better. Escalera probably could have continued but I have no problem with the stoppage.

I agree with all the ones posted so far, i would also add Snipes vs Berbick and Froch vs Pascal was a very good fight.
