It was Lucky. Lucky that Nonito didn't KO him in the 3rd when he caught Vic with the same left and rocked him.
is it true? Nonito "The Lucky Punch" Donaire?

It definitely was not a lucky punch, he hit Darchinyan with that same shot quite a few times in that fight and the last one did the most damage obviously, Darchinyan can still get hit by that counter left hook but it's harder to do it now because of the improvements that he has made.Comment

Darchinyan fans might not admit but. you only hear 'Lucky Punch' from them with regards to that fight. "One hit wonder" is also popular to them. despite 2 impressive defenses.
They Despise Nonito for that Victory.Comment

He was lucky. Yep. He was lucky enough to be winning the fight wire to wire before the KO punch.Comment

Well timed punch.
Only thing that worries me about donaire, is the lack of head movement at times, he's a bit too still, which isnt ideal going into a 2nd fight with vic.
But in terms of style, I go with Nonito in a rematch, he does the things that Vic would have nightmares about, such as fighting tall behind a jab, he will circle away from the left (which arce was too dumb to do) and he has power too.
Shaw is a ***** for saying those two will never fight, to say it in public too doesnt make vic look that great either, even tho I think vic would fight him again in heartbeat.Comment

If you think it was a lucky punch, you failed to see the same punch land at like 30 seconds left in the 3rd round and it also had Vic on ***** street at that time. Donaire simply attempted it again with more precision and more loaded up in the 5th when Vic left his face open for the taking.Comment
