Agabeko is a fighter kind of like vic with a weird style. It would produce a slugfest and a great fight. Both are tough challenges and yeah.

Personally I'm not worrying about it that much right now. I think there are good fights to be made in the meantime. I'd also like Mijares to work his way back to get a rematch at Darchinyan, so he can redeem himself. It's kind of a lost cause if Donaire beats him again.

Vic gives a much better fight the second time around though. I don't think he gets KO'd. He fought reckless the first time out. He'd lose something along 9-3 or 7-5. I think he can make adjustments and fight a controlled fight like he did with Mijares.

I don't know anyone at 118 who can give Darchi a meaningful fight.

          Penalosa is moving up.
Hasegawa won't fight outside his country.
          Mares is still a prospect.

          Whose out there for him?

do you not see the irony warp?
it is darchi who has the chance to redeem himself.
the logical reason behind him moving up would be for money.
other than that, i don't get it.

Hasegawa has stated many times that he'd like to fight outside japan. Hell, Vic lived in Australia. That's close to japan. They could fight there.

There is Joseph Agabeko, Fernando Montiel, Anselmo Moreno (WBA), Hozumi Hasegawa, Cristian Mijares again if he redeems himself, Silence Mabuza, and other good fights to be made.

It's to conquer another weight class. He's already close to champ at 115 and with Montiel moving up, you might as well too. It'd be great if Vic were to fight Donaire again, but realistically Shaw isn't going to let it happen. So in the meantime, I could either A. ***** or B. Enjoy the other quality fights that I can see Darchinyan take.

Darchinyan has many more options then Donaire at this point. Truth is Shaw should man up and let them fight, but it's not gonna happen.

I'm sure if Donaire had the belts Shaw would make it happen. He just does not want to do Donaire any favours by giving him a crack at 3 titles at once. Shaw is being bitter but that's the way it is.
