There were rumors of the hawk was going blind in one eye and i,m wondering if and when this deterioration began...i,m thinking that maybe he started losing site about the time when gerald mcclellan and him fought and i know in that fight gerald tooks some bombs and was hurt and we all know that gerald had a hell of a chin so that must tell you how much punching power jackson had and if he started to fight when he wasn,t 100 pct. Then that,s a recipe for doom...do anyone know when he became blind in one eye and did that shorten his career???

I think there were rumours even before he fought Herol Graham for the middleweight title.
I watched his fight against Dennis Milton recently and the commentators were talking about his eye problem. It's possible that he had it for the majority of his pro career.Comment
