Why isn't Ortiz on this list? He beat mostly retireables, 5 out of his last 10 fights were against fighters 35 years old or older including his breakout fight against a shot Maussa. His last 10 fights that ended in stoppages were against fighters 30 years old and older (his latest opponent Arnaoutis is also only a few months shy of hitting 30). The two fights he was up against young fighters he merely got a decision and a draw, yet he is being hyped as the second coming of Tszyu at 140.Comment

Paul Williams will be a top 10 ATG. He has already got '47 running in fear. Margarito was terrified of him after the beating he gave him, even with Marg's loaded wraps. Cotto wouldn't ever fight the Punisher, nobody at '47 wants to know. '54 ain't much better, Verno Phillips needed some cash so took a beating. Winky is next at '60. Maybe then the big boys will step up - but they'l all get punished. Anybody from '47-'68 will feel the force of the punisher. Anytime, Anywhere, Anyweight.. He will destory them all.
Williams > Kessler
Williams > Margarito
Williams > Mosely
Williams > Cotto
Williams > Winky
Williams > Bute
Williams > Taylor
Williams > Clottey
Williams > Forrest
Williams > Pavlik
Williams >Abraham
Williams > Sturm
Williams > anybody from 47-68.Comment

lol you're an idiot. A rematch clause is in the CONTRACT, it doesn't matter if Dawson relinquishes his belt. If Dawson doesn't accept the rematch he will get heavily fined. And I'm talking about hundreds of thousands of dollars, something Dawson can't afford.Comment

However that would be foolish, why drop the belt that he fought so hard to get? Gunner may be right, but the point is moot because obviously Dawson does not see Tarver as that big of a threat and he has desired to become and stay champion no doubt since he was a boy.
I would like to see Dawson destroy Tarver (I'd rather it be Johnson but all well) and then challange Kessler or another top dog at 170 so he would not risk loosing his belt (by fighting an winning a belt in the 168lb division; sort of a similar situation that Paul Williams encountered moving up). If no one will fight him at a catch weight, he should fight Johnson again, but that's not a big money fight IMO though boxing fans would love it.Comment
