Gamboa has a really weird fighting style.

he seems like he gets better when he gets knocked down. it is really strange.

I also hate how much he leaves his hands down. Dude is going to get KO'd when he's not looking for not sticking with the fundamentals. He is good but he isn't that good, yet.

You guys have to understand that all of Gamboa's opponents have gone into that ring just to try and survive and Gamboa has to put his hands down and get open because the other fighters are just there to defend them self not to try and actually beat him.

Gamboa will become more solid as he faces better opponents, believe me.

            I agree with this.

Also I don't think the amir khan comparison is really fair. Khan was hurt and nearly knocked out several times. Gamboa has been down, but never hurt. All of his knockdowns occurred early in the fight and were flash knockdowns, usually because he's off balance. He always bounces right back up and proceeds to fight as if nothing ever happened. Khan on the other hand looked like he was about to die.

why overrate amir khan so much?

Gamboa has talent and determination. But that doesnt equal intelligence, he's ****** for being so ****y inside the ring.

Floyd may be ****y arrogant. Thats his mental game. But he does realize how essential good fundamentals are.
