If he is completely 100% proven innocent then we will all owe him an apology, well the people that have been jumping to conclusions about it anyway...
IF Margarito Is Found Innocent???

Absolutely 0% chance of that happening.. Don't you get it??? I will say it again.. This is not a debate or speculation.. Something illegal was found in his wraps.. Innocence lost any chance of existing at THAT point.. NOW we are only left with levels of guilt..Comment

LMAO!!!! oh my GOD! this guy said "Defamation of Character"..lol ....WHAT HE HAD IN HIS WRAPS WAS ILLEGAL!!!! The only thing they dont know is what exactly was in their and the previous fights along with the inspectors. Thats whats making it take so long, they have to question why the inspectors "overlooked it" what the substance was? How many people in his camp knew. How many inspectors allowed this to go on. Were the same inspectors used in previous fights, if the inspector "overlooked" it this time could he have "overlooked" it before and probably some things I cant think of....but Im sure The commission is looking for a way so they wont look as bad for allowing almost allowing this to happen.Comment

This is where you hand this kid a video game or a toy from Mattel and say "everything is going to be alright"...Did we actually see OJ plunge a knife into someone? Did you actually see God, with you own two eyes? Did you actually go up in a space craft to know the world is round? Have you ever really touched the sun(so how do you know its hot....lol oh boy!...Im outta here this guy is still in denial...Like his lil pic says..he will always be faithful to the man he loves...cheater ot not!

No...because trainers of both fighters though aren't obligated to be present during the hand wrapping, they do have the authority to go in and check them if they feel they should (some look at it as a respect factor not to check the wraps).
But both Nazeem and a member of the CSAC found something that was very odd thus presenting it to the State. The problem really lies with both Marg's camp and the CSAC officials since they signed off on the gloves prior to Nazeem coming in to check them for himself which is when they found the object falling out of Marg's wraps.
Trust me when I tell you, they're attempting to lay the hammer down on these guys. Arum wouldn't get a high profile attorney if it was a simple misunderstanding.Last edited by RL_GMA; 02-09-2009, 02:29 PM.Comment

I'm pretty sure that the handwrapping was illegal. I don't think any of the blame lies with Margarito though. As Mosley said in an interview I saw last week, the fighter simply has his hands wrapped. How they are wrapped is the responsibility of the trainer. If it is found that the trainer knowingly was breaking the rules to attempt to advantage his fighter in a manner that is against the rules I would advocate a lifetime ban for the trainer. I don't think the fighter should take any of the blame. Just my take.Comment

This might fly if Margarito was an amateur but he is a professional that has had his hand wrapped thousands of times...he knows for sure if something is not right ...and its not like he was in another room while his hand were being wrapped.I'm pretty sure that the handwrapping was illegal. I don't think any of the blame lies with Margarito though. As Mosley said in an interview I saw last week, the fighter simply has his hands wrapped.
