He is blessed with some great physical attributes but he's not that good a boxer (in relative terms of course), in my opinion

Because he hasn't done **** to be put on a p4p top 10 list thats why. It takes way more than winning a title or 2 against weak ass competition to be a p4p.

He belongs no where near a top p4p list. The only reason you want him there, is because he is black and he is your "boy". That much is obvious.

Dawson has P4P Talent, but he doesn't have enough accomplishments to be in the list, IMO. Vic is top 10 for sure.

p4p list is not for accomplishments, that would be the ATG/HOF list. there's no prerequisite to having fought a certain amount of #1's etc to be high on p4p list. it's all about skill.

How so? He has shown ridiculous hand speed and stellar boxing skills against Adamek, Johnson and Tarver. He can crack a little bit and has good defensive fundamentals. He has proven that he can be hurt though, he will be a beast in the years to come and already is in my book.

With the victories over Kirilov, Mijares, and Arce, which are all top 10 fighters in the division and also the draw that he should have won against Gorres, Darchinyan should be in P4P but not top 5.

As far as Dawson, he doesn't belong in the P4P. Good wins over Adamek and Tarver. But some fans and media had him losing against Glen Johnson.
