Things get heated in the stands a lot of times at boxing matches.

The Mexican fans though made this card an event and got the fighters paid but you are always gonna have some nationalistic based rivalry in boxing so things can get very tense.


Boxing historically has fed off of precisely these kind of things.

As long as they are controlled I think it's natural. When they are not, like Bowe-Golota then there's worry about real damage .

where were you sitting aper? i was at section 222 row A. wish i could have met you at the fight. but yea, end of vic's fight as i was leaving, a fight broke out in the stands and i know the armenian is well known and fought a few mexicans and beat them up and got away =) but not neccassary at all. i was talking with a few mexican fans sitting by me and they were cool as hell through out the fight. respectifull and understanding. all in good fun man, why go to a fight and fight.
