I like Joe, I think he is a great fighter with great skills and has achieved a lot in the sport. I think he put up a great performance against Hopkins, Jones, Kessler, and Lacey... however I agree with you, if both fights had happened 6-7 years ago the outcome could and probably would had been different.

Hopkins was putting up a good fight until fatigue kicked in, and Jones has aged in dog years and hasn't been the same since Tarver in 2004, he is a great fighter but sorry it is the truth. Either way, they were both terrific wins... and he put up a grand performance.

Anyway, I like Calzaghe... he has done a lot for British boxing and has achieved all he wanted in his career, and I wish him all the best in the future and I wish him a happy retirement... now he should just enjoy spending his time with his family.
