    Ruiz Injured!! Fight May Off

Ruiz had been complaining of pain shooting through is left leg for the past week. He collapsed while doing roadwork in pain. MRI found two ruptured discs in his lower back L-4 and L-5. Stoney is making a decision of whether to pull out.

An athlete can still compete with such an injury. Depends on the severity of the sciatic nerve pain. No matter what he will need extensive rehab and maybe surgery if he does fight. He is risking permanent damage if he does fight.

The bottom line is that unfortunatley this fight is off. That stinks, I couldnt wait to see this. Golota wont fight anyone else.

To tell you the truth, I wasn't too excited about seeing Ruiz in another hugfest anyway....
