Yeah guess you could say Mexicans are going through a rough patch with there fighters, Cristian Mijares,Juan Lazcano,Antonio Margarito,Hugo Cazares,Rafael Marquez and Jorge Arce all coming of losses.

But they still have some world champions and good fighters and prospects in Fernando Montiel,Abner Mares,Israel Vazquez,Daniel Ponce De Leon,Jorge Solis,Oscar Larios,Cristobal Cruz,Humberto Soto,Juan Manuel Marquez,Alfred Angullo.

So even do some of the fighters i named at the top are coming of losses, they are still world class fighters and names i named below ares still world champions, or contenders or hot prospects.

So Mexico boxing is still very much in the mix, and still plays a big part in world boxing.
